About Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya

 

 

           

    Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is situated on the outskirts of the Village Veleru, Bupulapadu (Mdl.) It is about 24 KMs from Eluru the district head quarters of West Godavari in the north and about 53 KMs from Vijayawada in the south. Hanuman Junction which is about 6KM from the Vidyalaya lies in the Chennai Kolkatha National Highways. 

 

 

 

 

                 The School campus is built on a fertile 19.20 acres of land amidst palm grooves. This land has been donated by Sri. Donavalli Gurunatham and Smt. Donavalli Balamma. Though they are ordinary farmer they have an extra ordinary determination to have their land used for growing crops of good citizen  for the future.  

 

 

 

              The school building has 12 classrooms, 3 laboratories, a computer room, a library, Language room, Smart Room,   Art gallery, a Physical Education room, display areas, administrative and faculty rooms.  Each classroom accommodates 40 students designed to provide sufficient natural light from the left hand side, best suited for study purposes.

 

 

                   The laboratories also have sufficient natural light, ventilation with rooms for instructors and storage.  Two separate sets of toilets for boys and girls are placed at two rear corners of the building.
